Day 2
Colombo to Kandy via Pinnawala
Drive to Kandy (about 3 hours). Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route. Afternoon visit Temple of the Tooth. Evening Kandyan cultural dance show. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 3
Kandy · Botanical Gardens
Visit Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. Afternoon shopping in Kandy. Optional Knuckles Range trek. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 4
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Scenic drive through tea country to Nuwara Eliya (about 3 hours). Visit a tea factory and estate. Walk around Lake Gregory. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5
Nuwara Eliya to Bentota
Long scenic drive to Bentota beach (about 6 hours) or take the famous train Nanu Oya to Ella. Check into beach resort. Evening at beach. Overnight in Bentota.

Day 6
Bentota Beach Day
Full day at leisure. Optional river safari, water sports, or spa. Visit Galle Fort in afternoon (1 hour drive). Overnight in Bentota.

Day 7
Departure
Drive back to Colombo Airport (about 2 hours) for return flight.
